Originally from Martinsburg, WV, Martin has dedicated over 19 years of service to the United States Army. He currently works as a Training Non-Commissioned Officer for the 401 Engineer Company in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The experience and perspective he has gained from the Army has helped him teach others how to live morally and ethically, and to be an asset within their communities.

Also, while serving as a reservist, he spent 7 years teaching Middle School Science & Social Studies throughout the state of North Carolina.

 

Martin is currently stationed in Oklahoma. He's married to Barbara Durst and has three children, Ryan, Emily, & Ethan.

 

His latest effort, The Soldiers Creed: Hard Lessons of the U.S. Army for the Success of a Future America proves to be must-read for all self-help enthusiasts.
